2023–24 Annual Report for the Public Guardian and Trustee

We are pleased to announce that the 2023–24 Annual Report of the Public Guardian and Trustee is now available on our website.

The report provides key insights and achievements including:

• A detailed overview of guardianship in the Northern Territory, supported by statistics, analysis and case studies highlighting the core work undertaken by the Public Guardian and Trustee.
• Advocacy efforts at both local and national levels to protect, promote, and respect the human rights of Territorians with impaired decision-making capacity.
• Initiatives and projects undertaken to address audit recommendations and drive systemic improvements.

Without the hard work and dedication of my team and the collaborative efforts of key stakeholders and community groups, these achievements would not have been possible.
