The Health Care Decision Making Act 2023 provides a contemporary framework and principles for health care decision making for Territorians with impaired decision-making capacity.

When you are completing the form to the Northern Territory Civil and Administrative Tribunal to apply for a guardianship order, you need to include evidence that shows the person needs a guardian to help them make decisions.
