When deciding on matters to ensure a represented adult’s dignity and protect them from harm, what should a guardian consider?
The guardian should make decisions to ensure the adult has appropriate health care and personal care, is protected from harm, neglect, abuse and exploitation, and is treated with dignity and respect. The guardian should also keep the adult’s information confidential and protect their property from loss, misuse and damage.
