Who is an ‘interested person’ in relation to an application for a guardianship order?

An interested person might be the proposed adult’s relative or guardian, the Public Guardian and Trustee, the applicant, an agent for the adult such as a legal or financial adviser, a person primarily responsible for providing care or support to the adult or anyone else with a genuine and sufficient interest in protecting the adult’s best interests.
