Annual Information for Investors

The Public Trustee for the Northern Territory acts as a manager on behalf of investors. The primary investment objective of the Public Trustee is to consider, for each trust, the return on investment before fees and charges in line with individual investor’s needs and objectives. All investments are made according to the Trust Management Investment Framework.

The Auditor-General’s audit of the financial statements of the Common Funds for 2024-25 is now complete. The Public Trustee received a clean audit opinion from the Auditor-General on the financial statements for its four common funds. A clean audit opinion means that Parliament, investors and other users can have confidence in the information presented in the audited financial report. The financial statements of the Common Funds and the Auditor-General’s audit opinion have been included in the Annual Report of the Public Trustee. The Public Trustee Annual Report is now available, alongside the Public Guardian and Trustee Annual Report, via the Public Guardian and Trustee website.
